And yet, conversely, I am aware that I have acted extremely during missions in the past. I know there is some need there to... allow me to be reigned in, should I lose myself.

Belle Desrosiers. That was never a question. The problem is whether or not I'm putting far too much pressure on her.

Maybe you are and maybe you aren't. But while it is your choice who you give this option to, it is also her choice whether or not to accept it. If she thinks she can handle it, then you should trust her.

I study social situations. Knowing how someone's gonna react can prevent a scene from being made, etc.

You know, it's funny that you classify what I do as "touchy-feely." Profilers use the same skills to catch criminals - it's all about analyzing human behavior.

I've done some profiling. In fact, I do a little profiling every time a patient sits down in front of me. My observations about their behavior allow me to help them better.

Have you discussed this with Wynn? Told him your concerns about how your abilities could be misused in the wrong hands?

I'm not certain if Sarandis was ever able to replicate the effect. With everything else on his mind, it seemed cruel to add one more.

That's fair, but it also might ease his mind as well, if he knows what to expect. It can help us prepare in case his allies decide to use it against us - in fact, it could help you both.

I think it will help ease some of the fears you have about that information being out of your hands. It might ease some of the nightmares too, because it's likely the uncertainty that's causing them just as much as the trauma.
